Arriving on campus, summer 2028.
What is Varcity?
Varcity at Purdue is a University-Branded Retirement Community on the Purdue University campus, set on 13 acres. Focused on lifelong learning, increased healthspan and contribution, adults 55 and older have the opportunity to weave into the daily vibrancy of campus life, through lectures, Boilermaker athletics, concerts, Córdova Rec access and much more.
Our Purpose
Humans flourish in communities where all people and all ages grow and learn together. Varcity builds developments in vibrant university towns that unite all generations in an ecosystem of ascension. After your primary career concludes, Varcity offers you the opportunity to take the decades of experience and wisdom you’ve gained in the marketplace and advance those lifelong passions or use the decades ahead to shape and build brand new ones. The opportunity at Varcity is to reside in a culture and community shaped by longevity, science and learning.
Our Residences
Varcity at Purdue offers 239 residences in 5 styles: villas, townhomes, row flats, garden flats, and luxury apartments. Each residence offers curated architecture with a rare and intentional connectedness to the outdoors. For those looking for an elevated offering, the Gradu8 concierge floor, at the top of the main building, offers increased square footage, elevated service and elevated security.
Why Purdue
Purdue University has been at the epicenter of university innovation for decades. Consistently in the top 10 of “Most Innovative Universities in America”, Varcity at Purdue is a continuation of that innovation as it will continue to move campus toward an intergenerational learning hub. From launching the most astronauts to space from a public university to holding hundreds of patents, Purdue’s brand has been marked by higher education thought leadership. Purdue saw the partnership with Varcity as the opportunity to weave the decades of wisdom acquired by retirees into the university ecosystem and continue to advance learning into a lifelong pursuit.
